10,694 SF dual-system installation — electric continuously hinged ALPHA 'U' panels up to 43 ft tall on #6 track plus manual SIGMA 'C' paired panels. GC: Rodgers Builders Inc. Completed 2012.
Advanced Equipment Corporation supplied and installed a dual-system operable partition solution at Queens University's Levine Center for Wellness and Recreation in Charlotte, North Carolina. The project totals 10,694 square feet and features two distinct systems working together to maximize flexibility within the athletics and recreation facility. The primary system is a continuously hinged electric operation using ALPHA 'U' panels on a #6 track, with panels reaching up to 43 feet in height. The electric drive allows the panels to be moved with minimal physical effort despite their massive scale, enabling the facility to shift quickly between full-court competition, split practice configurations, and multi-use recreation layouts. A secondary manual system using SIGMA 'C' paired panels on a #2 track with standard vinyl finish provides additional subdivision capability in supporting spaces. General contractor Rodgers Builders Inc. delivered the project to completion in 2012.
