12,972 SF multi-system installation combining electric (#6 track) and manual (#8 track) ALPHA 'U' panels with two-tone vinyl finish. GC: IHO Espacios. Completed 2012.
Advanced Equipment Corporation delivered large scale operable partition installations at the Tijuana Convention Center, 12,972 square feet of partitions across the facility's primary exhibition and breakout spaces. Completed in 2012 with general contractor IHO Espacios, the project showcases AEC's capability to execute both electric and manual systems within a single large-scale convention environment. The primary electric system features ALPHA 'U' panels on #6 track with vinyl finish — the tall, motorized partitions stack cleanly into overhead storage via the electric drive, allowing staff to reconfigure the main exhibition hall quickly and without manual effort. The custom two-tone blue and white vinyl finish integrates with the facility's bold contemporary interior palette. Manual systems using individual ALPHA 'U' panels on #8 track provides flexible breakout room division throughout the facility. Each panel features recessed locking lever hardware for secure closure, combining operational ease with the clean architectural look required by the project's design standards.
