300 SF manual center-stacked IMAGE 'J' glass panels with premium wood clad finish installed in Costa Rica's Legislative Assembly. Walnut-framed glass panels create transparent acoustic separation in this civic landmark. Completed 2020.
Advanced Equipment Corporation installed a 300 SF manual center-stacked IMAGE 'J' glass and wood panel system at Costa Rica's Legislative Assembly building in San José. The installation represents one of the most architecturally refined partition projects in Central America. The IMAGE 'J' panels feature full-height glass lites framed in a rich walnut wood clad finish, seamlessly matching the surrounding wood-paneled walls and ceiling of the legislative hall. When stacked at center, the panels disappear into the architectural envelope, opening the full width of the space for plenary sessions. The marble tile floor, recessed downlighting, and warm wood tones throughout the space demanded a partition system of equally high finish quality. The IMAGE 'J' wood clad system delivered the transparency, acoustic performance, and visual elegance required for this civic landmark.
